Big Dish were in session on Janice Forsyth's Radio Scotland programme this morning. Currently being repeated on BBC iPlayer for those in the UK. Fairly lengthy interview along with acoustic performances of 'Prospect Street' and 'Wishing Time'.
My interest in Scottish bands from the late 1980s and 1990s remains undiminished and The Big Dish are a particular favourite of mine. I felt now was the time to begin a blog due to the dearth of information out there. I am also a fan of Love and Money, River Detectives, Hipsway, The Silencers, Capercaillie, Horse McDonald, Suzanne Vega, Steely Dan, The Who, The Rolling Stones, R.E.M., Counting Crows, Crowded House, Shawn Colvin, Grant-Lee Phillips , The Tragically Hip, Vulgar Boatmen, Vigilanes Of Love, Wilco, The Bathers, Friends Again, Aztec Camera, Tom Waits, Richard Shindell, Lucy Kaplansky, Nanci Griffith, Emmylou Harris, Patty Griffin, Foo Fighters, All About Eve, Sisters Of Mercy, Fields Of The Nephilim, Rush, 10000 Maniacs, Aimee Mann, Robert Cray, The Cult, god the list goes on, think I'll stop here and say I'm a big music fan!
