Big Dish take Hydro by storm

On Friday evening The Big Dish reconvened for a fine performance supporting Del Amitri at Glasgow Hydro.  Highlights included a shimmering Miss America, a rousing 25 Years, the inclusion of new song Cherry Blossom Falls, and oldies Jealous, Big New Beginning and Swimmer.

The Big Dish will be supporting Del Amitri at the Glasgow Hydro on 24 January as part of Celtic Connections 2014.  Great to see these two fine Scottish bands together again.

The Big Dish played a triumphant reunion show at the Glasgow ABC last night to a sell out crowd. The gig was part of the 2012 Celtic Connections festival. The band, supported by Iona Marshall, played for around 90 minutes. The set, probably not in exact order:

Radio Scotland session

Big Dish were in session on Janice Forsyth's Radio Scotland programme this morning. Currently being repeated on BBC iPlayer for those in the UK. Fairly lengthy interview along with acoustic performances of 'Prospect Street' and 'Wishing Time'.
